Heirloom Of The Northeast, is an initiative by myself (Seema Ghosh), with my tireless pursuit of studying, knowing and collecting the various treasures of this not so well known part of India. Around 12 years back my desire to travel extensively in the Northeast not only uplifted my soul with the wild scenic beauty of the lower Himalayas but, also led me to a vast house of untapped treasure hunt. Although, initially this started as hobby for me, but within a few years, after a rigorous fond research and avid interest, I was highly attracted to their unusual drapes. This led me to start my own endeavour. My products are handwoven shawls, stoles, wrap on skirts, skirt fabrics, blouse/top fabrics, men's jacket, Indo-western handwoven apparels (crafted with different Northeast yarns), different kinds of exclusive silk fabrics, handcrafted jewellery etc. Henceforward, this Heirloom became a renowned enterprise which constantly grows on love, passion, goodwill and uncanny researches on retrofitting ethnic ensembles and jewellery (exploring more onto other arenas).
